Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trals of many kinds, because you now that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

*.* busy again *.*

hello...okay, maybe dust is already beginning to collect on this blog, but I'm here to wipe it all away! Yay! Oh...rhymes...haha...

Anyway, a little update of my life...whatever I remember of it, that is...

April 1.
highlights: April fool's day, my class' birthday! haha...
In the morning, we played the first joke on my form teacher. We were having PCCG (pastoral care and career guidance) and she was teaching us on stress management...haha...Anyway, we all agreed to drop something whenever she asked a question. She didn't suspect anything at first, because it started with just one or two people. Then the major dropping season began, and she started getting a little worried. Why are you all dropping things? (drop) You all very stressed isit? (more dropping) yes, something like that. After a while, then she noticed that we seemed to be dropping stuff on purpose. "You know, this is like some behavioural game, where there is a cue for you all to do something. Is it the word 'stress'?" (drop) "Okay, okay, are you all feeling 'it'?" (drop)...so you get the idea. She thought it was certain words that made us drop stuff, and so she kept asking more and more questions...poor thing :) But we ended off the lesson with "Happy April fool's day!" instead of "thank you", so it was pretty cool. We also played other jokes on more teachers after that, but don't need to say lar hor.

Last sat.
Busy busy day. I had choir till pretty late the day before, so I was super tired and had to sleep. So on saturday, I woke up at 6am to study for the HSK (some internationally recognised chinese proficiency exam). I left my house at about 8.10 and went to school for choir. Choir ended at about 12 and then I went for a mini lunch before once again returning to school at about 12.45 to continue studying. At 1.45, I went to revise my scores at the piano in the canteen. Ah! SYF! Anyway, I reported at the registration counter at 2 and then went into one classroom (examination hall). So funny, we have this like security pass or something...with my ghostly photo, and other funny info lah. Anyway, went in, and trust me, I was faced with one of the most excruciating papers you can ever take. For one, the paper is allocated time per section. You cannot do the next section before they tell you to do so, and you can't go back to previous sections to check. The test was from 2.40pm to 5.20pm, when in actual fact, it could be finished in 1hr+. The first section-listening compre-was almost like a droning bed time story. More than half of us were almost put to sleep by the 50 weird questions. For the other sections, most people only spent half or less the allocated time, hence, more sleeping. I was scared I wouldn't wake up for the next section if I slept, so I started doodling funny stuff:) And why was the paer so painful? Because it's 170 questions!!!!!!!!!!!! Ah! 154 MCQ which are guaranteed to make you fall asleep somehow, and 16 blanks that you have to fill in (all super easy...pri 6 standard chinese)...Wah! I survived! Yay! :)
After school, I took bus 67 to kembangan. Had worship practice. Mark Seow ah! Crazy one leh! Did such funny stuff during the prac...but the prac was ok lah. All of them didn't know how to play Everything to Me. Think I demo-ed quite a no. of times...but eventually, nicky sounded much better than me..haha...of course lah. Plus Corrie, Paul and Chermaine also. Tim Soh was kind of sick...hmm..poor thing...leading when you're sick is pretty hard, based on personal experience... That night, reached home at about 11.30pm...Had hardly any energy left...sigh...

Yesterday.
Church! Yay! I did the videoing for the first time for 2nd service. Only people in annex would know lah...haha...Later on, Isaac stubbornly insisted that the portable projector would work with the computer in the chapel (the projector is spoilt) but at the last minute, he told me it didn't, so in the end, I had to do a lot of running here and there, and setting up the equipment as quickly as possible. Very, very tiring....but worth it, I guess :) Must sui2 ji1 ying4 bian4 (react quickly to different situations) great worship too! Went home after church earlier...yesterday also almost zapped of energy...so sad...

Today.
Hmm...highlights. I'm injured, again...haha...this time not by falling down. Just as our chinese lecture finished, my class had togo for PE, and I think Helen was bursting with energy, so as she kept the LT seat table, she accidentally slammed it right into my face, whacking my jaw. So where did my teeth go? They chomped down into my lips! And ta-da! I created a deep cut in my lip. After 2 seconds of being in a state of shock, the only thing I could say properly was Ow! Ow! Ow! Yup, blood started spilling out of the wound, and because of reflex action, tears naturally found their way out of my eyes, even though I didn't intend to cry...haha. Anyway, I couldn't speak properly after that. Couldn't pronounce consenants anymore...only vowels...felt quite dumb..haha...and then I was trying to say the alphabet from beginning to end quite unsuccessfully :) I didn't speak much for the rest of the day...haha... Now the blood has turned almost black, and it's pretty obvious..haha...just hope it'll heal by Wednesday, cos my SYF's on thursay, and I need to pronounce the words properly, as well as put make up on my lips. Sigh... must heal, must heal...

Ok have to go. Have a great week. 3 days to SYF~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pray for me :) God bless :)
