I am officially 16! hahaha...
I want to thank the really really nice people who made this birthday very sweet :)
First of all, my choir juniors tried to secretly buy me a present when we were in Malaysia, but their acting...wasn't very professional lah...haha...so I found out. But thank you Xin Yi, Gloria, Jacqueline and Ying Ting :)
On Sunday, I was feeling better (still got a lot of phlegm though) and then the party took place :P Who came... Steph, Joce, Joan, Nicky, Tim Han, Tim Soh, June, Mark, Joel, Andy (jie fu to-be..haha). Of course my parents and Cheri and Cheryl were there. Chermaine came back later. Yup...so it was a nice bunch of people. We had great food cooked by my family members :P haha... you'll only know if you were here. heehee...And we had games! We played the messy one first: Water bomb Monkey. I think everyone got wet...haha...hmm...but the older people (YAG) didn't want to play...I wonder why...haha... The game was a lot of fun anyway...
Later on...after getting dry, I was ushered to my room secretly by Cheryl to get the present from her, Andy and Joel. Yes, I already guessed what they were going to give me: feminine clothes. Sigh... but anyway I went to bathe first, quickly dried my hair (couldn't be that quick lah..my hair so long...) then I put on the blouse and skirt, let down my hair and blah blah blah... then Cheryl insisted on escorting me back to the place where everyone was gathered and made this funny "official announcement" of my arrival...haha. But that was a bad idea! Amidst some gasps, and some clapping, some people took out cameras. AH! And quite impossible to run away lah...but after the super embarassing moment, we went on to play Taboo...guys vs girls. Guess who won? Of course the girls lah! hahahahahaha... I think they had 20 and we had 37 so it was pretty cool :) Oh ya...in between all the games and all were of course the food...eat non-stop I think...haha. Anyway, for the final game, we hit the pinata-which contained loads of sweets- blindfolded, and tried to knock all the sweets out. After many failed attempts, Mark just helped us whack the outside repeatedly with no blindfold. I think he was quite violent lah...so eventually all the layers of paper ripped and sweets came flying out...haha.. quite a sweet affair. While they were picking the sweets though, I had to go in to prepare the cake. Ah! It was so cute! heehee...I purposely chose the kiddy sort this yr. Water (blue cream) with sea creatures (icing sugar) on top. Then they sang the birthday song in English and I asked them to sing in Chinese too (only some of them could lah..haha) and we ate the cake lor :)
Oh ya, at the start of the party, I made all of them wear party hats for a while and take photo. Then they gave me presents. Joan and June gave me a book each, Mark and Nicky purposely gave me this card meant for the 50th birthday, and this transformer toy (meant for guys)...lame! The rest shared a concordence(I think very ex..) and a blouse (feminine stuff, again...) I really liked all. Thank you :) After the party, Joel, Andy and June stayed behind (they're older)...and we had balloon fights plus we played very silly games till about 9+...I really enjoyed the day :)
