hello! Won't blog long, just want to mope a little! haha... I'm quite sad lah...cos of a few things. First of all, both my super nice PA mentors are leaving Singapore :( Yong Fa is going for a six-month mission trip in America, and Isaac is going to Australia for 2 and a half years for studies and maybe find a job. Ah! Very very sad :( They've really taught me a lot in the past 5 months and have become my very very good friends lah, so I'm kind of sad they're leaving.
Also, I'm about to do work I really really don't like. EEK! I don't like this funny li jie wen da...and I also realised I can't hand in my english portfolio tomorrow, because my mum has gone to bed, complainign thyat she has a severe headache, so I can't get her to complete the paretn reflection form. Yikes! Sad...

hello! Decided not to post anymore essays...too embarassing...haha...
Anyway, the "holidays" have started. However...WHAT HOLIDAYS? Sigh... Have school almost everyday for this week, then I'm leaving on Friday! For those of you who still don't know (you're slow...haha), I'll be off with my school choir for a performace trip in KL and Penang. Don't know why they want to see us also, but we're performing during a national choir camp and having an exchange programme with a school in Penang... Hopefully it'll be fun :) And I'll be be back...before my birthday :P Aiya, you can ask my dear sisters in church (if you do go there), except Chermaine lah, she's...blur :)
Hmm...got back my report book, did well enough to not be stopped from going for worship pracs, and my mother said, "ok, you deserve to go Malaysia". Yep, so I'm quite happy :) And cheri, jia you ok? You have more potential than me...just need to push a little harder... then your results will..."shoot through the roof"! hahahha...I think only my family would understand that... That excludes you, Andy :)

The Race
The stage is set
Racers crouch low, awaiting the signal
White and Black team
Each to represent his World
Black in the first lane
"That's where they ought to be!"
White in the center
"Rightfully."
Minds focused; determined to win
Eyes roaring with rage
The stakes are high-too high to lose
Pulse pumping
Hearts beating
In sync
Double Double
Toil and Trouble...
3-2-1...GO!
Look!
A false start from the White!
Judges oblivious.
Off they go
White leading; Black lagging
One lap down, two to go
...Fire Burn and
Cauldron Bubble
How could it be?
Black's catching up
"He must not overtake"
"I must always be ahead"
A simple trip will slow him down
Buying time to shoot ahead
White slows down
On purpose.
HE catches up; full of hope
Equality within his grasp
Just a few more steps...
One trip
Sent flying
Falling...
Far behind now.
"The Black has fallen!"

Up on his feet

hello!
Time has passed...and I haven't really updated...haha..sorry.
Anyway, guess what? I did the mainstream mid-yr english compo paper today and guess what the title was?
BLOGGING!
haha...I think I wrote crap lah...but hopefully I'll survive :)
Anyway, I took the international chinese proficiency test a while ago, and we finally got our certs today. Whee! I got A! ok, well, so did almost everyone else, but that's not the point :) It's quite cool to know that that multitude of hours spent in the exam room doing the more than 150 questions was worth it :) So cool!
Another thing I got back was my mid-yr higher chinese compo papers. I did pretty ok...got A2 overall for both functional writing and compo. The level msg was 4 lah...so I'm quite glad for the A2....and extremely grateful! Yay! Thank you, God :)
Well, my report book comes out on friday. Terrible thing is, parents must come personally to collect, and teachers are to speak to them...sigh...hope Mrs Chew and Mrs Seah don't have too many bad things to say about me :)

hello. Sorry...haven't updated in years...haha
Anyway, it's wednesday! Ah! A few more days before the weekend...yes I'm looking forward to the weekend because it will probably make me happier :) Well, I did something stupid today. I tried opening the container for my graphic calculator, which is this hard plastic that is sealed almost fully. I basically cut myself by slicing the scissors across my hand and so cut my fingers at 3 places...hmm..yes typical me :) I'm still alive though.
Honestly, as of now, I'm feeling quite weird. Nothing's wrong, yet nothing'g going right too. How would I know how to feel? Argh! I'll just leave it.
