Child Of God

School: NUS YLLSOM
Age: 19

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trals of many kinds, because you now that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
James 1:2-5

*.* Exams Galore! *.*

Felt like putting a random picture there :) It's something I designed as a backdrop for an event and ya...I painted the bulk of it...so I like it :)

Yes, my exams have already started...but I'm sneaking in this post because...well...I'm tired and don't feel like styudying for a while.

Speaking of tired, I think something's majorly wrong with me. Why do I always not feel well when exams are approaching or already here. I really felt like sleeping for both GP and Econs yesterday (wait. maybe i did fall asleep) but.... I dunno.... I didn't finish any of the 4 papers... :'( Pathetic, man....

It's ok... (I'm talking to myself... Crazy...) At least there's always something that never fails to cheer me up (besides God) And that is...

haha...anyway...don't know how many people have been following up with the 40 days ofpurpose thing. I have! :) And I've been memorising all the verses for each day too...haha... some people say it's over-achieving, but..nah...It lifts my spirits :) These are my favourites so far... (all NIV)

Colossians 1:16
For by Him all things were created; things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities, all things were created by Him and for Him.

Ecclesiastes 4:4
And I saw that all labour and all achievement spring from man's envy of his neighbour. This, too, is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.

James 4:14 (must say it in a very excited tone!)
Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.

Psalm 149:4
For the Lord takes delight in His people, He crowns the humble with salvation.

Whee!!!!! By the end of these 40 days I'll have 47 more verses in my vocabulary :) That's a really nice thought! I shall go study :) See ya!

*.* Paul goes downHill... *.*

SI update:
Paul Twohill's tears said it all... He's out of the competition.
However, I think he has a pretty long career ahead of him in the media industry.
With his natural interesting behaviour and the sincerity he seems to display, I think he'll go far.

Right now, three vie for the title (which may not do that much actually):
Hady, Jonathan, Jasmine.
It's pretty tough to say who's going to make it to the finals because, well, it's where the money comes from that decides...not always the talent. Oh well...

Moral of the story: Indulge in something else! Like studying...lol... Ok fine, I'm guilty for not studying much these few days (cos I really think there's something awfully wrong with me). No excuse, but I might not do well for promos... (I'm not betting anything!) Sigh...I better study again after this post...

Things to do:
1. Study more
2. Look scarier to protect myself from unlawful creatures on the earth
3. Find out what's wrong with my eyes (it's very very unreceptive to light...hurts like crazy in the day when outdoors..)
4. Find out what's wrong with my body (I think I'm cold-blooded...because my body temperature on the inside fluctuates like crazy, which means that I fall sick for no reason pretty quickly)
5. Buy a nice handphone cover...preferrably with smiley faces :)
6. Homework... Loads of it. Die...
7. Discuss important stuff with God (I got a calling recently...scary)
8. Study more
9. Study more
10. Have I mentioned about studying more?

Ya well, got to go. I'm pretty sure I'm failing my mock chem paper tmr :)
Still, have to TRY to pass lah :)

God bless you...

*.* The September Rescue Mission (SRM) *.*

Yes, it's time.
We've wasted too much time...
Done too many unnecessary things...
And now,
Hope must return.
Presenting...
The September Rescue Mission!

I've come up with a schedule that will hopefully save me from too many failures in my promos... It's a 25-day last-minute preparation...that squeezes 5 million pages of horrid content into less than a month. And...I'm gonna die!!!!!!! Ahh!

Thankfully, I managed to cram 10 chapters of Econs over the past 2 days. Because of school hw as well which I need to finish by this Monday (extra lessons...) I might not finish what I set out to do... So I better be prepared to mug harder * already stoning...* Don't know what I'm typing. Can't be bothered to know.

SRM...Let's see if I survive my own rescue mission... (welcome to my sad, pathetic life...)
